The Lounge
When you come through the front door into the main lounge, we want you to feel that, far from staying at just another hotel or visiting just another restaurant, you're dropping in on a comfortably luxurious private country-house party, where you can relax knowing that everything you need is at hand and everything is the best of it's kind.
We have dispensed with the ordinary hotel paraphernalia like reception desks and room numbers. You will be greeted personally by us.
The interior has been completely refurbished,care being taken not to obscure the original features. The 16th century beams in the lounge have been retained, for example.
